Bayahibe

This spectacular beach is 20 kilometers to the east of La Romana. This beach has very fine sand and authentic turquoise water. Its bottom is sandy and not very deep. The people of La Romana visit it frequently on the weekends as well as lot of tourist since there are a lot of hotels in the  vicinity. There are restaurants that serve food and beverages and you can even spend the night if you like at a small inn

Boca Chica

Boca Chica is the most popular beach close to the city of Santo Domingo. Only 25 minutes by car passing the Las Americas International Airport.
The beach area is surrounded by coral reefs where the sea a blue turquoise color; the water is low for approximately a kilometer outward. If the tide is low, you can walk to a small island called “La Matica”.

San Rafael

Located in the Barahona providence, about 20 kilometers to the south of the city. Here the sands are thick and the beach is in a cove surrounded by the tall mountains of Bahoruco, the cold water of the river merges into the beach.  The beach has strong waves and you must take precautions when bathing. The scenery is spectacular and very tranquil. This is an ideal place to spend the day and eat fresh fish “colorao” with a side of fried plantains and a good cold Dominican beer.

Guayacanes Beach

This beach is located on the same route of the East Caribbean Beach just after and before Juan Dolio Beach, is modest, with little tourist infrastructure, it is interesting for its calm waters and finesurf, besides being little frequented.

Juan Dolio Beach

Juan Dolio is located southeast of the Dominican Republic from Santo Domingo, the capital and the city of San Pedro deMacoris, in the province to which it belongs. It is located in a highly privileged because it is just a little over 20 miles away from Las Americas International Airport and 40 km from the city of Santo Domingo.
