The Kingdom of the Nutcracker tells the magical story of young Clara, who on Christmas Eve receives a very special gift: a nutcracker doll.
As night falls, fantasy comes alive and Clara finds herself immersed in an extraordinary adventure. She will witness an epic battle between toy soldiers and the fearsome Mouse King, and then travel hand-in-hand with her Nutcracker Prince through a snowy forest to reach the dazzling Kingdom of Sweets.
In this new version of the Dominican Ballet Concerto, inspired by Marius Petipa's original creation, this classic ballet—divided into two acts—will transport audiences to a universe full of color and fantasy. Spectators will be delighted by iconic dances and unforgettable characters such as the Sugar Plum Fairy, while enjoying Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's celebrated and moving score.
